Cisco Courses

Cisco courses are designed for people to gain professional certification that is recognized worldwide. Many worlds’ networks are using Cisco equipments and technology these days. Cisco courses are a great start for people looking forward for their careers in networking and networks.

Cisco offers CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) as a first step in their Cisco certification career path followed by CCNP; Cisco Firewall Specialist; Cisco Wireless LAN Support Specialist; A+, Linux+, Network+, Security+, Server+ certifications, administered by CompTIA and Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform.

It is recommended training for individuals seeking certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). The CCNA certification is classified into four basic courses namely the networking basics course, the routers and routing basic course, switching basics and intermediate routing course and networking basics course.

At the first level i.e. the networking basics course Cisco focuses on networking terminology, LAN, WAN, Ethernet, Internet Protocol, IP addressing etc. whereas the routers and routing basics course focuses on initial router configuration, manage Cisco IOS Software, configuring routing protocols, and create access lists controlling access to the router. The switching basics and intermediate routing course focuses on advanced IP addressing techniques, intermediate routing protocols, command line interface configuration of switches, Ethernet switches, spanning tree protocol, VLAN trunking protocol (VTP). The last but not the least in the list of Cisco CCNA Certification is the certified network associate certification focusing on IP addressing techniques, port address certification, WAN technology and terminology.
